How
to book on a course
It couldn't be simpler! We have
a 'live' availability page, so you can see scheduled course
spaces in real time, and a fully secure online booking and payment
system. When you book online (click
here for our online booking system),
you are sent confirmation straight away by e-mail, for your
peace of mind and so you can get organising things like flights
and airport transfers. With
the e-confirmation, you are also sent a detailed Course
Information Pack which includes lots of useful information such
as course meals and accommodation, training and sightseeing,
as well as a map for you to locate our Chamonix office. Also
included is your invoice, and a course
specific equipment list.
Before you book online,
please read our terms and conditions. |

Online
booking security |
| Our
online system is protected by SSL encryption, so you can
input card details and pay safely over the internet. We
are also registered with the ICO for Data Protection.
Our online payments system is with RBS, who have verified
the security of our system with their independant tests.
When
you book online, you will see a padlock displayed in the
bottom or top navigation bars of Internet Explorer, as
shown in the image on the right. |

As our booking system is secure and availability is managed
in a live online environment, we no longer accept any bookings
over the phone or by post / fax / e-mail. This is to protect
your payment details, and as availability can change in real
time. We always operate on a first-come first-served basis,
as this is fair to everyone, so cannot 'hold spaces' for whatever
reason. Our secure online system is the only way to book a course,
and you get immediate confirmation of your booking as soon as
the online deposit payment is processed. It couldn't be quicker. |

your Course Info Pack and Invoice). If
you have opted to fly, you arrive in Geneva airport, we can
arrange transfers to and from Chamonix for you. All you need

It
is a condition of booking with Icicle that you arrange

the time of booking. Documentary proof of your insurance
will be inspected in Chamonix before your course starts.
Failure to get suitable insurance could result in you
missing part / all of your course. We highly

Snowcard insurance (activity level 4 policy), for all of our
Alpine climbing courses. To book this online, either click on
the logo on the right or click
here to visit the Snowcard website.
Snowcard insurance covers cancellation if you opt for additional
cover 'C' or 'D', and mountain rescue costs are part of the
medical cover. Please note that it is highly unlikely that any
other 'snowsports' or bank / credit card provided insurance
is suitable. An alternative insurance provider is the British
Mountaineering Council. If you are not a UK resident we recommend
the Austrian Alpine Club insurance. Contact details for all
insurers are available on the links
page of our website. |

| 3)
Please
ensure that all passports, and any visas necessary, and all
other documentation is in order before departure. We recommend
that you take a photocopy of all your key documents. |
