Beginner
Winter Acclimatisation Weekend
This is a two day course that can either be done in its own right as a weekend, or before a course to enhance acclimatisation. In winter you travel on snowshoes, which makes this acclimatisation suitable for both skiers and non-skiers. The aim of each day is to reach summits to advance your acclimatisation.

Avalanche Awareness & Snow Safety Days
Can you ever put a price on safety? No you can't, but these days only cost £49! The course takes place in the Chamonix valley, and you are taught the use of avalanche tranceivers, shovels, and probes. You also focus on avalanche prediction, and construct snow pits. Led by a British leader.

This weekend teaches you winter skills that are essential Alpine knowledge for hillwalkers, skiiers / boarders and climbers alike, such as avalanche awareness, ropework, glacier travel and use of crampons and ice axe.

Winter Intro 'Ice & Alpine'
The winter version of our ever popular summer course. This course is suitable both for Alpine novices and for those who want to learn waterfall ice climbing (such as those who have attended a Scottish introductory or a summer Alpine introductory course).

'2 Person Winter Week'
For couples or friends looking to book together, this is a full week of 1:2 Guiding tailored to you. It also includes an upgrade to a private flat for the two of you (worth at least an extra £150!). This course is run on demand every week throughout winter.

This course gives you the chance to climb some of the best ice or Alpine routes in winter. If you want to devote every daylight hour to climbing some of the best ice that Europe has on offer, this course is the one for you.

Val de Cogne & La Grave Ice
From long multi-pitch waterfall ice routes to shorter more technical routes, there is a route to suit every style. There is also usually the opportunity to try mixed climbing or some dry tooling routes.

Canadian Ice Course
Canada is famous for every type of waterfall ice, from the mighty Grade VI/ VII climbs of the Terminator Wall, to the impressive curtain of the Weeping Wall of Icefields Parkway, to the huge 300m long multi pitch Louise Falls.

Norway Ice Course
This course is aimed at quite strong ice climbers, who want to push their grade and climb as much waterfall ice as possible during a week. You should be happy seconding Grade IV or V ice.

Ultimate Ice
The 'Ultimate Ice' course is for those who have reached a ceiling of their ice climbing, and want to be pushed from Grade IV upwards. This course can also be run over a weekend with two days of guiding.

Winter Matterhorn
This is true mountaineering, and your stamina and resolve are pushed to the limits as you ascend through the deep snow carrying your belongings with you. It is normal to be the only group on the mountain.
