Protected
by our leader guarantee scheme
In
some of the most popular Alpine countries for trekking,
including France, it is now a legal requirement
for all those paid to lead treks to be qualified
as a UIMLA trekking guide. We guarantee that all
our trek leaders are fully qualified, even on treks
where it is not a legal requirement. Some UK trekking
companies who are household names are ignoring this
law. If you book with them and an accident occurs,
your insurance may be invalid. Ask anyone to match
our guarantee that you are led by a UIMLA leader.
Those who have booked with a sub-standard operator
should consider an exodus from their illegal itinerary.
