Norway
is famous for every type of waterfall ice, from
the mightly wall of Hyndefossen, to the exciting
enormous pillar of Vettisfossen. |
 |
This
course is aimed at quite strong ice climbers, who
want to push their grade and climb as much waterfall
ice as possible during a week. You should be happy
seconding Grade IV or V ice. |
 |
If
you are looking for ice falls with no walk-ins,
accessible from a car park, Norway is for you. You
are led by either an IFMGA Mountain Guide or an
experienced and talented MIC Mountain Instructor,
who drives you to all of the best sites for the
best conditions. |
 |
The
icefalls of Norway keep their condition longer in
the year than the Alpine waterfalls, giving a longer
season. |
 |
On
demand: if
no scheduled course dates are showing in the column
on the right, we can still operate a course on demand
for two people booking together, on any dates that
suit from January through until the end of April,
arriving Sunday and departing Saturday. |
 |
Dates:
these
are listed in the column on the right, and they
show the live availability from our secure online
booking system. When you book online, you receive
immediate confirmation, your Alpine Information
Booklet, course specific kit list and invoice. |
