| Avalanche
Safety Day |
| Can
you ever put a price on safety? No you can't, but
these days only cost £49! The course
takes place in the Chamonix valley, and you are
taught the use of avalanche tranceivers, shovels,
and probes. You also focus on avalanche prediction,
and construct snow pits. Led by a British leader. |

| Avalanche
Weekend |
| This
weekend course goes into far greater detail than
the avalanche day, most especially in terms of route
choice, avalanche safety and crystal analysis. As
well as having the extra day of guiding, the weekend
course also includes a classroom session with a
presentation about avalanche awareness. |
|
|
| Vallee
Blanche Off piste |
| A
day in which to descend the most famous off-piste
ski run in the world, with a Guide. The Vallée
Blanche is 23km long, and can be completed by skiers
or snowboarders. You can book this day ahead of
your holiday,
or once you are in Chamonix. Just pop into our Chamonix
office to arrange your day. |

| Heliskiing
Guided days |
| The
best Drop Zones are on the Italian side of Mont
Blanc, and in Switzerland. No heli skiing is allowed
in France, but both the Verbier and Courmayeur bases
are less than an hour from Chamonix. The most popular
descents are the Petit Combin (Switzerland) and
the Piccolo Monte Bianco (Italy). |

or tuition. We
provide Mountain Guides or International Mountain
Leaders by the day, as well as running our wide
range of scheduled courses and expeditions in summer

|

| Chamonix
off piste level 1 |
| Improve
off piste skills and discover the most remote areas
of the Mont Blanc massif. These ski clinics are
led by the very best off piste skiers of our Guide
team, and they will find the best untracked powder
to savour each day. These clinics are run in the
key season to ensure the best off piste conditions. |

| Chamonix
off piste level 2 |
| This
off piste clinic is for slightly more experienced
skiers than Level 1, and the days tend to be a bit
longer and tougher. If you have a couple of weeks
off piste experience, then this is the course for
you. By the end of the week you will have learnt
how to ski in all conditions, & your technique
will have improved. |
