of routes including the famous Dent du Geant from
the Torino hut on the French - Italian border.

is a classic Grade 3 waterfall, and is a popular
choice when there is not too much snow around.
It is close to the Vormaine pistes, so access

route is ascended on many of our courses in both
summer and winter. It ascends from the Col du
Midi near the old Abri Simond hut, to the Aiguille
du Midi.
Here
is a video of photos taken on the Italian Snowshoe
Weekend, that is run every weekend during winter,
featuring a night in a luxury mountain hut.

broken section of glacier to practice their short
roping skills. The glacier is the Mer de Glace

Cremerie is a great place to earn how to ice climb,
and this clip shows a climber ascending a short
pitch to try different ice axe and crampon techniques.
Summit
of Mont Blanc

can see for hundreds of kilometers from the summit
of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps;
as shown in this clip that was taken in Summer
2006.
These

are amazing as he flys straight up the glacier

you can see a climber on Petit Cervin (Little
Matterhorn) boulder on the Col de Montets at the
far end of the Chamonix valley between Argentiere

waterfall is a great place to learn ice climbing
and the route ascends over three pitches to the
fixed lines for the descent. Here two climbers
